It was always the goal of company founder E. Norman Rauland to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Today we typically reinvest 12% or more of our sales (much higher than the industry average) into our Engineering Department for new product development. This investment helps us maintain an impressive portfolio of leading edge products designed to fulfil customer needs.

Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) enables us to electronically transmit designs directly to the factory to create circuit boards, chassis, and other components. This sophisticated approach increases product reliability while decreasing both cost and time to market.

Our engineers are equipped with the latest tools for mechanical, electronic, and software design.  From the beginning of the design process, we use virtual modelling and rapid prototyping to verify and validate product designs.  The commitment to these advanced tools gives our engineers the ability to optimize the product development process.
