Patient AccessIntegrated Information Gives Your Staff a Performance Edge
Responder holds important patient information – such as patient names, demographics, unit/room, caregivers and their wireless extensions – all in one place. This makes it easier for staff to work together to deliver exceptional care and keep up to date with real-time patient information. Simplified Workflow Means Better Management of Bed Requests The same Responder system being used by clinical staff can also be used to receive, manage, and assign beds. A bed request begins with a simple click of the mouse, which instantaneously populates the bed control screen and begins a timer. Bed control reviews pending discharges and open beds to make a match. Responder shows whether the bed is free and whether the room is ready. This makes it easier to put patients in the right bed at the time of availability - bringing simpler management to bed turnover.
When the patient is placed in a bed, you can text message (or call) the receiving unit with the pending transfer. You can also text message the primary RN of the room/unit, which expedites reporting from one RN to another without slowing down the process and without going through the unit secretary. |
