Communication With a Personal Touch
With Responder, you can speak to your patient remotely - yet still give the patient a personal touch. When Responder is integrated with your CCTV system, you can conveniently view the patient's room from the nurse station, speak to the patient via the Responder system, and see the patient's condition on a monitor, all at the same time. In turn, the patient can also see you, making it easy to assess the situation and use your staff's time effectively.

Systems Integration Means Security
The safety and security of your patients and your staff are equally important. Responder adds an extra layer of support by installing and integrating panic buttons for your staff.  If a staff member needs support, a press of a button can lock down the unit or area and send an emergency call. 

With Responders ability to integrate with staff tracking systems, you can route the panic button - and track which staff member is in trouble. Responder integrates employee card readers into the alarm system; entry to various departments or floors is regulated with the use of swipe cards.  While the door is open on a unit, a message can be sent to the nursing station, so staff can see who is entering/exiting and monitor when the door is securely closed.  Visitors who do not have access to enter, can press a button outside the unit which alerts the nursing station. The employee can now speak to and see the visitor, then decide whether to grant access.
