Giving Care a Personal Touch
When a patient requests assistance, you can't always go directly to the room to speak to them face to face.  With the Responder system you can speak to your patient remotely and still give the patient that personal touch.  You can conveniently view the patient room from the nursing station by integrating the Responder system with your CCTV system.  You can speak to the patient via the Responder system and see their current condition on a monitor at the same time.  This will make assessing the situation easier and use of your staff's time more effective.  In turn, you can also have the patient see you as you speak to them on their CCTV in their room.

Security for Your Patients and Your Staff
We know that the safety and security of your patients and your staff are equally important.  We can add an extra layer of support by installing and integrating panic buttons for your staff.  If a situation arises where a staff member would like additional support, a press of a button can bring help by locking down the unit or area and send an emergency call.  With Responder's®  integration to staff tracking systems, you can route the panic button built into the tracking tag to the appropriate personnel for assistance.

Entry doors to departments or floors can also be a source of concern for you.  We can integrate to your employee card readers into the Responder® system.  Staff entry to various departments or floors of a facility is regulated with the use of swipe cards.  While the door is open on a unit, a message can be sent to the nursing station alerting them so they can view who is entering and monitor when the door is securely closed.  If a visitor does not have a card to enter, they can press a button outside the unit and this can alert the nursing station.  The employee can now speak to the visitor and see them on their CCTV monitor to determine whether to grant access to the visitor or not.
