Delivering Patient Needs to your Dietitians
Patients have special diet needs and Responder systems can help facilitate communications between your Dietary department and your nursing staff.  Our software applications can help communicate diet needs of your patients.  Staff can notate on a patient when they are NPO, cardiac, or have any other dietary restrictions.  This can be sent via a text message to a specific dietitian alerting them of a need, such as a diabetic dietary consultation.

Reducing Wasted Meals
You work hard to prepare the right meals for the right patient at the right time.  Nothing is more frustrating than delivering that food and the patient is not in their room.  Perhaps that patient transferred to a different room or is out of the room for a test.  The Responder system can aid staff in reviewing a floor's census prior to delivering the food.  This avoids wasted food and a wasted trip.

Improving Communications Between Dietary and Caregivers
Specific diets are often ordered on patients in a facility and oftentimes the registered dietitian wants to consult with the primary caregiver to clarify the orders.  By utilizing the Responder system, a dietitian can quickly and efficiently speak with the RN by calling their wireless device directly and bypassing the unit secretary all together.

Physicians often write orders for special diets and there can be a delay in relaying this information to food services.  By implementing our process buttons, the physician can initiate a notification directly to the dietitian that a special diet order has been written.  This can start a workflow that is customized to your facility.
