Environmental ServicesRemove the Blame and Improve the Process Being responsible for a part of an entire facilities bed turnover process is no small task. You are dealing with every department in the hospital and carrying all the ownership of the outcome. Our Responder process buttons help you in so many ways.
Create a Non-Threatening Process Process buttons are simple enough for all staff members to participate in. These buttons can be color coded and in any language or text that is desired. So when a patient is being wheeled out of a room, the volunteer or transport staff member can press a button that notifies your EVS staff that a room needs to be cleaned. This can go to your departmental secretary, shift manager, or directly to the staff member device that is responsible for that room. When the EVS staff enters the room to be cleaned, it is indicated with another button press. When complete, the button is pressed again.
You Cannot Improve What is Not Measured Now that you have distinct processes that happened you can measure performance and identify needs: staffing, process, or equipment. This can create a team spirit in the constant pursuit of improving patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and organizational goals. |
