A Better Workflow and Continuous Improvement
As a patient is wheeled out of a room, the volunteer or transport staff can press a button that notifies your EVS staff that a room needs to be cleaned. The message can go to the departmental secretary, shift manager, or directly to the staff responsible for that room. When the EVS staff enters the room to be cleaned, he or she presses the button to indicate the action; one more button touch tells everyone when the room is clean. The process data stored in Responder can be used to measure performance and identify needs in staffing, process, or equipment. This can create a team spirit in the constant pursuit of improving patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and organizational goals. |
