Enhancing Patient Communications When a patient requests assistance, you can't always go directly to the room to speak to them face to face. With the Responder system you can speak to your patient remotely and still give the patient that personal touch. You can conveniently view the patient room from the nursing station by integrating the Responder system with your CCTV system. You can speak to the patient via the Responder system and see their current condition on a monitor at the same time. This will make assessing the situation easier and use of your staff's time more effective. In turn, you can also have the patient see you as you speak to them on their CCTV in their room.
Addressing Patient Safety Our ability to integrate with countless patient systems allows Responder systems to work for you. We can communicate with your patient wandering or tracking system to alarm when a patient approaches an exit. This helps to ensure that the patient is monitored at all times.
You also need protection from the outside into your unit. If you have door access restrictions, we can integrate with those card readers for access to unit to create a notification, or turn on a monitor so you can see who is entering the unit.
Improve Patient Care Patients that stay immobile for long periods of time are susceptible to bed sores. These can be addressed through regular patient rotation. The Responder system can remind staff regularly to perform this function.
Patients that are prone to falls are also another concern. We can notify staff when a Bed Exit alarm, or when the patient leaves the bed, is tripped. We can also do the same for your patients in wheelchairs through chair pad alarming. |
