Responder operates on its own sub network (as it should to meet UL1069 requirements).The bulk of the system's messaging and communication stays within its network. Responder touches the facility's LAN at only one point – for wireless device communication and supplemental PC display. Because Responser servers run on VLAN within a hospital network, they can reside in your hospital data center for cooling, maintenance and back-up services.
