Physician Offices
Communicating Room and Patient Status The Respondersystem can aid your office in indicating the needs of a patient in a room via a simple button press. A nurse can escort a patient into a room and after taking their vitals and updating the chart, can press a button which can start a series of events. It can simply light a lamp outside the patient room a certain color that indicates the patient is ready for the physician. It can also send a text message to a wireless device giving that same information. Alternatively, when the physician orders a lab to be drawn or a test to be scheduled, a different colored lamp can be colored outside the patient room indicating this new need.
These processes are customized to your practice, so the possibilities are endless.
Marquee Displays Augment Your Message Board Capabilities The Responder system can also integrate to electronic message boards, called a marquee. These can be used for a variety of communications from a message to a physician, alerts to staff members when there is a need in another part of the office, or when there is an unusual wait time in the reception area. Again, this can be used to fit your office's needs as you see fit.
By harnessing the power of a nurse call system in your office, you can realize efficiencies you might not have thought of in your busy practice. |
