Additional Clock System Hardware
Get the most from your clocks. Clock System Add Ons include power supplies, buffers and switch kits for digital clocks.
Power Supplies
The 2515 is a 24VAC power supply with dual outputs rated at 3.5A each. For new clock systems, the 2515 power supply provides power for up to 280 Rauland analog clocks. The 2515 meets UL Class II specifications, allowing it to be used in clock circuits without conduit. This greatly reduces installation costs and allows the user greater flexibility when developing a full clock system. The 2515 can also power any 24VAC digital clock, such as those in the Rauland 2420 and 2520 Series.
For clocks that require direct current (DC), Rauland offers both the PS1225 and SPS24 power supplies. The PS1225 is a 12VDC supply that generates up to 2.5A of output current. The SPS24 is a 24VDC, 2.5A power supply designed for use with Rauland clocks that use the Reduced Wiring Scheme.
The advanced design of the TCCKAN12 (12" 12-hour dial), RCKAN12 (12" 24-hour dial) and TCCKAN16 (16") analog clocks allows them to be powered by either AC or DC power supplies. The 2520 Series of digital clocks can also be powered by either AC or DC.
Digital Clock Switch Kits Popular applications for digital clocks include timed testing
sessions in classrooms, sporting events and physical education classes.
The 2434(G) Switch Kit allows you to set Rauland digital clocks into
either count-up or count-down timer modes. The 2434(G) is a two-button
switchplate that mounts conveniently on a single-gang electrical box.
You will find a complete digital clock line from Rauland. All Rauland digital
clocks feature high-intesity LED's and various mounting options that include
surface, flush, double-face, ceiling or wall mounting. Both 2420 and 2520
Series digital clocks share common features that include elapsed timer and
countdown timer as well as compatibility with 2423(G) digital clock switch
kits.
Buffers and Clock Interface Modules
Most digital clock applications require an isolation buffer that protects the clocks from voltage fluctuations to be inserted between the digital clock and the power supply. The Rauland Clock Interface Module (TCCKINFM) is a multifunction device that not only serves as a protection buffer, but it can also provide switching functions for various clock correction schemes. The Clock Interface Module also allows digital and analog clocks to share the same power and correction wires. For larger digital clock applications, the Clock Interface Module can be used to drive relays connected to the clock power circuits. In smaller (less than 50) digital clock applications, the lower cost 2418 solid state relays may be more suitable.
