Integration with STANLEY Healthcare’s Staff Protection solution expands All Touch beyond EMR information sharing
MT. PROSPECT, IL ( November 7 ) – Staff duress and other events at hospitals can now be passed from staff Real-Time Location System (RTLS) badges directly to mobile and visual alerts via a new integration of Rauland Responder All Touch® and STANLEY Healthcare’s MobileView® software platform for its RTLS solutions.
Responder All Touch software is the first instance of a nurse call system integrating directly to a hospital patient’s electronic medical record, allowing the systems to share information bi-directionally.
This latest integration, with STANLEY Healthcare, expands that capability to encompass notification of staff events such as duress/assist or low tag battery level. The secondary integration is enabled via the MobileView platform connecting location data with clinical applications.
This latest integration allows nursing staff needing help, but out of reach of Responder 5 hardware, to alert team members quickly that help is needed and where. Patients benefit, too, since their caregiver does not have to leave their side to summon assistance to the room.
By integrating to MobileView, events initiated either manually or automatically are passed directly to Responder® 5 for annunciation at the nursing consoles, corridor lights, status boards and integrated phones.
This new event-sharing workflow builds on the interoperability solutions of Rauland Responder in delivering workflow and process solutions across the hospital for critical healthcare communications. Responder is installed in more than one million acute care beds in 40 countries, helping hospitals and staff improve workflow, drive patient satisfaction and automate communications.
"We're pleased to further advance our partnership with Rauland-Borg to offer these significant benefits to the healthcare industry," said Gabi Daniely, Vice President of Solutions, Products and Marketing for STANLEY Healthcare. "The integration of our MobileView platform with All Touch reflects our ongoing commitment to provide the most comprehensive set of healthcare visibility solutions available and help hospitals improve efficiency, safety and care."
The Responder All Touch software suite encompasses direct integrations to support clinical workflows and communications, saving nursing time, keeping systems in sync, and reducing noise and alarm fatigues. The All Touch solutions suite includes integrations for EMR documentation, wireless workflows, smart beds, bed management, IPTV and medical devices.
